GETTING TO THE ISLAND
The Isle of Wight is accessible via ferry from the mainland. Many accommodations offer guest discounts on ferry travel, so it’s worth checking before you book.
There are car ferries and passenger only options:
Portsmouth to Fishbourne Car Ferry
Portsmouth to Ryde Pier Head Passenger Ferry
Portsmouth & Southsea to Ryde via Hovercraft
Southampton to West Cowes Passenger Ferry
Southampton to East Cowes Car Ferry
Lymington to Yarmouth Car Ferry
We strongly recommend booking ferry tickets in advance.
GETTING AROUND
There is limited public transport via train and bus. Car rentals are available, including Enterprise Rent-A-Car. You can also book taxis with multiple companies on the Isle of Wight.
ACCOMMODATION
To get the best deal, we recommend booking as soon as possible. As a holiday destination, there are plenty of Airbnbs, Holiday Rentals, Hotels, B&Bs and Campsites.
The closest local villages to the venue are Ventnor, Godshill and Shanklin, all have a shop and places to eat. The larger towns of Newport and Sandown are also close by.
